SAFFET BEY on the rocks
Ro-roLast Satuday ro-ro SAFFET BEY ran hard aground at full speed, on a place called Profitis Ilias in Lakonias, Peloponessos, Southern Greece. For unknown reasons the ship allegedly failed to turn.
Nobody was injured and no oil leaks have been reported.
Today she was still sitting on the rocks. A tug has arrived to free her.
