RMC acquires license from Meyer Turku for the construction of new Tallink ferry

YardRauma Marine Constructions’ (RMC) co-operation with Meyer Turku shipyard has been extended further with RMC securing a license from Meyer Turku to use the planning materials used in the construction of Tallink’s MEGASTAR for the company’s 50,000gt LNG-powered shuttle ro-pax it is building for the Estonian company’s Tallinn-Helsinki route. The near sister ship of MEGASTAR building at RMC is scheduled for delivery in early 2022.
