During this year's ski season, demand has been particularly high and booking levels are once again exceeding those of the previous year. The number of Danish bookings in January increased by 9 percent compared to the same period last year, which represents a new record for the company.

A contributing factor is that many travelers value the flexibility and comfort of taking their car on board, while the ferry trip becomes a natural start to the holiday. The combination of accessibility, affordability and the opportunity to travel on your own terms means that more and more Danish families are choosing this form of travel.

The Swedish mountains appeal to Danish travelers for several reasons – proximity to Denmark, affordability and the ability to travel by car for increased freedom and flexibility. In recent years, Stena Line has continued to strengthen its offering to ski travelers through targeted campaigns, packages and collaborations that make it easier to book the entire trip. The positive development shows that Denmark remains one of the most important international markets for Swedish winter tourism – and that Stena Line plays a central role in this journey.
