P&O Ferries to make a further 1,100 workers redundant – the vast majority seafarers

FerryThe crisis at P&O Ferries due to the continued lockdown in the UK and loss of business due to COVID-19 continues, with the Dover-headquartered operator announcing that it is to make 1,100 people redundant – the vast majority of them seafarers. It is understood that this is roughly a quarter of the ferry operator’s workforce.
