Grimaldi bid EUR 38.8 million for Naples–Cagliari–Palermo and EUR 45.5 million for Civitavecchia–Arbatax–Cagliari, representing discounts of 0.674% and 0.977%, respectively. The ministry did not disclose whether competing bids were received.

Naples–Cagliari will operate three times weekly, while Cagliari–Palermo will be served once a week on a weekday. Crossings will mainly operate overnight, with maximum journey times of 13 hours and 30 minutes and 11 hours, respectively. The used RoPax must carry at least 1,000 passengers, including 600 in reclining seats, and offer 1,600 lane metres.

Civitavecchia–Arbatax–Cagliari will operate three times weekly, with at least two overnight calls at Arbatax. Maximum crossing times are 12 hours between Civitavecchia and Cagliari, eight hours and 30 minutes to Arbatax, and four hours between Arbatax and Cagliari. The used RoPax must be no more than 25 years old and carry at least 1,000 passengers and 1,500 lane metres.
