Nor Lines sold to Eimskip
Ro-roAfter a few financially struggling years the owner of Norwegian Nor Lines, DSD (Det Stavangerske Dampskibsselskap), has decided to sell Nor Lines to Icelandic Eimskip and become part of a larger structure. The two 2015-built KVITBJØRN AND KVITNOS however will remain owned by DSD, but sail for Eimskip/Nor Lines, which currently operate 7 vessels in Norway.
No financial details has been released publicly, and the sale is first due to be accepted by Norwegian competition laws by 2017.
