Ro-ro AUTO ECO is the largest LNG dual-fuel PCTC in the world, and the biggest ever 1A Super ice classed PCTC.
AUTO ECO, the first of two vessels, has been christened last Monday in Zeebrugge, an important hub for UECC with some 615,000 cars handled by UECC alone.
Sister vessel AUTO ENERGY will be delivered on November 29.
Both vessels have been built in China by the Nacks Shipyard, or the NANTONG COSCO KHI SHIP ENGINEERING CO., LTD., which is a large-scale shipbuilding joint venture between COSCO and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.
The February issue of Shippax CFI will have a presentation of this ro-ro vessel.
