MV Werften uses keel-laying ceremony of second Global Class to announce new Universal Class ships

CruiseWhen laying the keel of the second 208,000gt Global Class at MV Werften in Rostock on 9 December, Genting Hong Kong grasped the opportunity to announce the launch of a new class of ships dubbed Universal Class – a significantly smaller ship series aimed at global hotel brands that want to penetrate the cruise market, but are unable to do so due to the unavailability of building slots at shipyards.
