Before that, he served as Vice President, Head of Hub Terminals, at APM Terminals in The Hague, having previously held several senior positions at Mærsk.

Carsten Jensen, CEO of Nordic Ferry Infrastructure and a former CEO of Molslinjen, has led the search for a new chief executive for Denmark's largest passenger ferry operator.
"The company is embarking on a highly ambitious electrification programme across all its routes, and in Rolf Nielsen we have found the person capable of leading the business into a new electric era," said Carsten Jensen.

"Molslinjen is a standard-bearer in Denmark and internationally when it comes to passenger ferry operations. The company has achieved impressive results, and its next challenge is the transition to electric high-speed ferry operations through the world's largest maritime electrification project. That was an opportunity I could not turn down," said Rolf Nielsen.

Rolf Nielsen will take up his position at Molslinjen's headquarters in Aarhus on 1 January 2027. Carsten Jensen will continue to perform the role until then.
