Molslinjen expands collaboration with Vikingbus
From 1 June 2026, it will be Vikingbus that runs Molslinjen's bus company, Kombardo Expressen. Thus, Molslinjen expands its collaboration with Vikingbus, which today also runs Kombardo Expressen's routes to and from Bornholm and Sweden.
Molslinjen and Vikingbus have just entered into an agreement that from 1 June 2026 means that Kombardo Expressen's buses between Jutland and Zealand over the fast ferries on the Kattegat will be operated by Vikingbus.
"We have had a really good collaboration with Vikingbus on Kombardo Expressen's operation on the busy route to Bornholm, so it was natural to expand the collaboration with them," says Molslinjen's CEO, Kristian Durhuus.
At the same time, this means that the collaboration between Molslinjen and Herning Turist will end this summer. Herning Turist has been involved since the birth of Kombardo Expressen in the summer of 2017.
At Vikingbus, they are looking forward to the trips across the Kattegat:
"Kombardo Expressen is in many ways still a young business with a strong combination of bus and ferry, and we look forward to helping develop the route and give passengers some good and comfortable trips across the Kattegat," says Vikingbus' Operations Director, Lars Larsen.
Kombardo Expressen's routes from Copenhagen to Swedish Gothenburg are also operated by Vikingbus.
