MOBY LEGACY delivered
FerryMOBY LEGACY, the second of two 70,016gt next-generation ro-pax ferries for Moby, has been delivered from the GSI shipyard in Guangzhou. It will enter service between Livorno-Olbia together with its sister MOBY FANTASY.
MOBY LEGACY (initially MOBY MAGIC), have a length of 237m, a 32m beam and a capacity for 3,800 freight lanemetres and 3,000 passengers for whom 441 cabins is provided.
The LNG-ready, scrubber-equipped vessel is powered by four 9L46F Wärtsilä engines, guaranteeing a service speed of over 23.5 knots.
Both vessels were designed by OSK Design, responsible for the concept development, naval architecture, and interior design.
