Major row breaks out on the Clyde between CMAL and Ferguson Marine

FerryThe phrase ‘Clyde-built’ used to have a special meaning in terms of world shipbuilding for many decades – quality ships. Sadly, this seems not to be the case today as highlighted by the unholy row currently going on between state-owned ferry and ports company Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL) and the latest remaining commercial shipbuilder on the Clyde, Ferguson Marine Engineering over the late delivery and cost overruns on two LNG dual fuel ro-paxes on order.
