Italian government to save CIN by decree

FinanceThe Italian government has just issued a recovery decree-law, ensuring general measures for the recovery of the economy in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. This includes a specific measure suggested by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT), calling for the extension of the agreement between the MIT and Compagnia Italiana di Navigazione (CIN), albeit not exceeding 12 months after the end of the COVID-19 emergency situation, expected to be 31 July 2020.
