Hurtigruten to convert up to three coastal express ships to hybrid-powered expedition cruise vessels

CruiseHurtigruten is to convert three of its coastal express ferries – TROLLFJORD, FINNMARKEN and MIDNATSOL – into hybrid-powered expedition cruise ships for operation of year-round expedition cruises on the Norwegian coast from 2021 on yet to be disclosed routes. The project is believed to be costing in the region of USD 100 million.
