Greek ferries a lifeline in more ways than one

FerryAccording to Greece’s Association of Passenger Shipping Companies (SEEN), the country’s coastal shipping, directly or indirectly, contributes EUR 12.9 billion, or 7.3%, to the country’s GDP; employs 350,000 people and accounts for 50% of all jobs on the islands.
