GALILEUSZ returns after rebranding in Szczecin
FerryEuroafrica Shipping’s freight-oriented RoPax ferry GALILEUSZ returned to its Polish base port of Swinoujscie during the night leading into 1 September following a stay at Gryfia Shipyard in Szczecin. During the yard stay, the 1992-built GALILEUSZ, which has a capacity of 1,742 lane metres and accommodation for 125 drivers, was repainted in POLSCA Baltic Ferries’ colour scheme.
The vessel is the fourth in the POLSCA Baltic Ferries partnership to receive the new visual identity. The 2025-built JANTAR UNITY was the first ferry in the partnership to feature the new common colour scheme. It was subsequently applied to VARSOVIA and EPSILON, while the next vessel to receive the POLSCA Baltic Ferries livery will most likely be JANTAR UNITY’s sister ship BURSZTYN UNITY, which is expected to be delivered by Remontowa Shiprepair Yard in October this year.
GALILEUSZ operates between Swinoujscie and Ystad. POLSCA Baltic Ferries brings together the three Polish ferry operators Polferries, Unity Line and Euroafrica.
