First steel cutting for second Wallenius SOL short-sea ro-ro

Ro-roThe Yantai CIMC Raffles shipyard has commenced with the construction of the second 5,800-lanemetre newbuilding for Wallenius SOL. When delivered next year, the 30,000dwt vessel class – designed by Knud E. Hansen in close collaboration with Wallenius SOL – will become the largest 1A Super Ice Class ro-ros.
