Fire On Tallink’s MEGASTAR At West Terminal Extinguished
FerryDuring the night between Wednesday the 13th and Thursday the 14th, a bus caught fire on the car deck of Tallink’s MEGASTAR. All passengers were safely evacuated, and no injuries occurred.
The Helsinki City Rescue Department received the alert at around 12:30 a.m. and was waiting for the ship at the West Terminal. The MEGASTAR’s crew began firefighting immediately after detecting the fire and successfully contained it. The fire did not spread to other vehicles.
