Fincantieri Q1 2023 results
FinanceQ1 results in line with FY 2023 guidance. Revenues at EUR 1,764 million, up by 4.9% compared to Q1 2022. EBITDA at EUR 87 million with an EBITDA margin at 4.9% (vs 3.0 as of 31 December 2022). Net Financial Position at EUR 2,922 million (EUR 2,531 million on 31 December 2022), in line with production volumes for the period and delivery schedule, with two cruise ships delivered in April.
Total backlog at EUR 34.0 billion, approximately 4.6 times 2022 revenues, with order intake at EUR 0.9 billion: backlog as of 31 March 2023 at EUR 22.7 billion (EUR 23.8 billion as of 31 December 2022) with 89 units in portfolio and soft backlog at EUR 11.3 billion (EUR 10.5 billion as of 31 December 2022).
