Eurotunnel takes the UK’s DfT to court over no-deal Brexit ferry contracts

FerryThe fall-out over the awarding of three contracts by the UK’s Department for Transport (DfT) for its no-deal Brexit contingency plan continues. Following the cancellation of the GBP 13.8 million contract with start-up British operator Seaborne Freight last week, Channel Tunnel operator Eurotunnel has now taken the DfT to court over the awarding of the three contracts in late December 2018.
