Prior to FedEx, he held senior technology leadership roles at DHL Group and SAP. Having spent much of his career in global logistics and supply chain organisations, he has focused on how technology can help complex operations run more efficiently.

As Chief Digital & Information Officer, Sandeep will lead DFDS's Technology & Innovation organisation and continue the development of the systems, platforms and digital capabilities that support customers, colleagues and operations across the DFDS network, bringing extensive experience in technology leadership, operational excellence and standardisation across global organisations.

Sandeep will assume the role on 16 November 2026, succeeding Rune Keldsen, who is leaving DFDS at the end of September 2026 after six years to become Chief Information Officer at Ørsted.
