Brittany Ferries announces the resumption of maritime rotations on its historic Roscoff / Plymouth line
FerryBrittany Ferries announces the resumption of its commercial activity between Roscoff and Plymouth after a winter break, a resumption which occurs earlier than in previous years. From 9 February 2024, ARMORIQUE will serve Plymouth five times a week.
Passengers will board in the afternoon in Roscoff for an evening arrival in England. During a getaway, they will be able to enjoy the next day freely on site to re-embark the same evening. The Plymouth / Roscoff return will be operated at night. The company also offers travelers crossing packages with accommodation.
Plymouth occupies a special place for Brittany Ferries since it is the first destination towards which the company set sail when it was launched in 1973. This makes Roscoff / Plymouth the historic maritime route of Brittany Ferries.
Built in 2009, the ARMORIQUE was designed to meet the characteristics of the Roscoff / Plymouth crossing, the company's historic line. With a capacity of 1,500 passengers, the ship has 247 comfortable cabins all equipped with a bathroom and 337 reclining seats in a private lounge. Shop, catering and spacious lounge, wide open to the horizon, create a convivial space entirely dedicated to the well-being of travelers. On board, wheelchair accessible cabins are available. Also, 19 specially designed cabins are equipped with flooring suitable for traveling with pets.
ARMORIQUE timetables until mid-February
Departure every day (except Mondays and Tuesdays) at 3:00 p.m. Arrive in Plymouth at 10:10 p.m.
Return every evening (except Tuesdays and Wednesdays) at 10:00 p.m. Arrival in Roscoff the next morning at 8:00 a.m.
From March, PONT-AVEN joins
From March 2024, PONT-AVEN will join ARMORIQUE. Entered into service in 2004, it has a capacity of 2,400 passengers and 650 cars, the PONT-AVEN shines with its design focused on passenger comfort. It has numerous facilities on board: 2,000 berths, à la carte and self-service restaurant, tea room, bars, swimming pool, two cinemas, wellness areas, shops, information office. In addition to ensuring the Roscoff / Plymouth line twice a week, alongside ARMORIQUE, the PONT-AVEN will also reconnect Plymouth to Spain as well as Roscoff to Cork in Ireland.
