BLUE GRACE Has Entered Service
FerryOn 8 August 2025, Tsugaru Kaikyo Ferry's newest ro-pax vessel, BLUE GRACE, entered service on the seven-hour Muroran-Aomori route. The ship was built by the Naikai Zosen Setoda shipyard in Onomichi city, Hiroshima prefecture.
According to Tsugaru Kaikyo Ferry, the 144 m long BLUE GRACE can carry up to 422 passengers, 65 trucks or 230 cars at a service speed of about 18.9 knots. She features a big bath with a view of the ocean.
Existing BLUE MERMAID was replaced and transferred to the 3 hrs 50 mins Hakodate-Aomori route.
