Social impact cruises seem to be unfathomable
Cruise Miami-based Fathom, the one-ship company from the Carnival Corp. will cease to exist by the summer of 2017.
The aim was to offer social impact-focused cruises, initially to the Dominican Republic and later to Cuba.
The 704-passenger vessel ADONIA will be returned to P&O Cruises. It would not be surprising if the ex Renaissance St Nazaire built vessel will be offered for sale, for example to Oceania Cruises who operate four sister vessels.
