MONTE D'ORO sold out of Corsica Linea’s fleet
FerryFollowing the deployment of CAPU DI MARU, formerly KALLISTE, which was acquired earlier this year from La Méridionale, Corsica Linea has sold MONTE D'ORO. The vessel, built in 1991, has now been renamed MONTE EXPRESS and has changed from the French flag to the Cypriot flag.
The ship arrived in Alexandria, Egypt, on 15 May. There has yet been no official announcement regarding the new ownership, but there are strong indications that the vessel has been purchased by the Alexandria-based company UME Shipping.
