China Shipbuilding Corporation celebrates CSSC-CSIC merger with first steel cutting for COSCO ro-pax

FerryConcurrent with the official 26 November launch of China Shipbuilding Corporation – a merger of shipbuilding giants China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) and China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) – the world’s biggest shipbuilding conglomerate cut the steel for the first 43,000gt ro-pax ferry in a series of two Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) will build for COSCO Shipping Ferry Co., Ltd.
