Bohai Ferry orders two freight ro-ros at Yantai CIMC Raffles Shipyard

Ro-roChina’s Bohai Ferry, based in the northeast of the country, has placed a newbuilding contract with domestic shipyard Yantai CIMC Raffles for the construction of two multi-purpose freight ro-ros for delivery in 2020. The 26,500gt ships will boast a 2,700-lanemetre intake, measuring 189.9m by 26.4m. After delivery both vessels will be chartered to Bohai Ferry’s newly-established joint venture Bohai Hengtong Ferry for domestic coastal service.
