Truck volumes increased by 15%, while passenger traffic continued to grow. The results provide a foundation for fleet modernisation, new routes, revenue diversification and investment in maritime infrastructure and services. This is reported by the Egypt Independent media outlet.

The company recently added AL JISR, the former CIUDAD DE IBIZA, which accommodates 85 trucks and 254 passengers, and the high-speed passenger vessel ASHUR, with capacity for 312 passengers. And a further vessel accommodating 110 trucks and 253 passengers is being added, bringing the fleet to 11 vessels, it emerged during the General Assembly meeting.

Arab Bridge Maritime is preparing to launch additional routes, particularly Safaga–Duba, linking Egypt and Saudi Arabia for passengers, trucks and goods.

The Egypt Independent cited the Egyptian Transport Minister Kamel El Wazir for saying that larger vessels would improve sailing frequency and reliability and increase passenger and truck transport capacity. He welcomed preparations for Safaga–Duba, highlighting its contribution to regional trade, and confirmed ministry support for additional international routes.

And the Jordanian Transport and Labour Minister Nidal Al-Qatamin highlighted the joint Arab venture’s sustainable growth and investment potential. Iraq’s representative Hazem Al-Hafathi said fleet modernisation and route expansion would strengthen connections between the Arab Levant and North Africa.
