Polferries, Port of Ystad and Port of Swinoujscie invest in the future (Updated)
Together the three parties have decided to further strengthen the popular Ystad-Swinoujscie route for future needs.
Today's capacity is too low which is why they are investing in both new ro-pax ferries and berths. Polferries have committed to order two new 228 meter long, 3.500 lanemeter ferries, which is going to increase the capacity by more than 30% during 2019. The two berths will be finished in 2018. On August 29 an event will be held with representatives signing the letter of intent.
