News in pictures: military exercise is good for DFDS
The ongoing military operation "Atlantic Resolve" has a positive effect for DFDS on the Kiel-Klaipeda route. The ro-pax ferries ATHENA SEAWAYS and REGINA SEAWAYS are the favourite carriers for the transports of US Forces during the operation.
This week more than 100 trucks, tanks and containers have been shipped from Kiel to Klaipeda. The equipment is part of the new deployment of the 2nd Cavalary Regiment.
Operation Atlantic Resolve is a demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to collective security through a series of actions designed to reassure NATO allies and partners of America's dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region in light of the Russian intervention in Ukraine.
These training events improve interoperability, strengthen relationships and trust among allied armies, contribute to regional stability, and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.
