Molslinjen lowers the price on the Kattegat
Despite the recession and energy crisis, Molslinjen's Kattegat ferries are now entering 2023 with lowered prices. More cars and passengers will be on the fast ferries in the new year, when Molslinjen will increase capacity.
Molslinjen lowers the prices for the fast ferry trips across the Kattegat at the turn of the new year, despite high energy prices and a lurking recession.
The lowest price for a trip across the Kattegat falls by DKK 50 to DKK 249 - and there will be many low-cost tickets to be found at the new price.
"It should be cheap to travel in Denmark - that's how we've done it for the past ten years, and it's worked. We have an extra fast ferry in operation in 2023, and we would like to utilize the increased capacity", says Jesper Skovgaard.
Many other transport companies are currently announcing price increases for 2023 - but here Molslinjen wants to go against the grain.
"Our route is critical infrastructure in Denmark, and we will constantly work to get as many cheap tickets on the market as possible. Like everyone else, we are affected by the increased costs, but we have to make up for that loss by getting more passengers and cars on the ferries", asserts Jesper Skovgaard.
