
Mols-Linien A/S buys ferry from competitor
Today Mols-Linien A / S have signed a contract with Danske Færger A/S
for the purchase of the 1978-built ro-pax ferry POVL ANKER.
The company's CEO Søren Jespersen said the acquisition is to ensure a smooth transition between Danske Færger A/S and Mols-Linien.
The vessel will be chartered back to Danske Færger until August 31, 2018. After that, she will continue as a replacement ferry on the routes to Bornholm when Mols-Linien takes over operations on September 1, 2018.
