Liberty Line sells hydrofoil ferry ESCHILO to Greek Operator Alpha Lines
High-speedItalian ferry company Liberty Lines has sold its FoilMaster hydrofoil ESCHILO to Alpha Lines, the Greek operator serving the Saronic Gulf islands (including Hydra, Poros, and Spetses).
The 2006-built and 240 passenger capacity ESCHILO, built by Rodriquez shipyard in Italy and previously operated routes from Milazzo to the Aeolian Islands (such as Salina and Vulcano), has already been delivered to its new owner.
This transaction allows Liberty Lines to optimize its fleet of over 30 high-speed vessels focused on connections to Sicilian islands, Calabria, and international routes, while Alpha Lines expands its high-speed passenger services in the Greek market beyond SPEED CAT I.
