Launching and naming ceremony of SeaRoad's LNG-capable SEAROAD I at FSG Shipyard
Ro-roOn 7 November 2025, Flensburger Shipyard (FSG) and SeaRoad celebrated the launching and naming ceremony of the new Hull No. 784, christened SEAROAD I. With more than 43,000 gross registered tonnes, the LNG-capable SEAROAD I will be the largest ship ever operated by SeaRoad. The 210-metre-long RoRo vessel is scheduled to join SeaRoad's fleet in September 2026.
At a breadth of 29.30 metres, SEAROAD I is designed to carry heavy cargoes up to 100 tonnes, containers via a cassette system, road trailers, and other freight including over-dimensional units and motor vehicles.
The FSG-designed vessel is due for completion in Germany in July 2026 and will be operational on Bass Strait in September 2026.
