Engine room fire on CARIBBEAN FANTASY
CARIBBEAN FANTASY, a ferry running several times weekly between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, had to be evacuated yesterday after a fire developed.
Many of the 512 passengers required medical care, though there were no reported fatalities.
The Coast Guard said later that the ferry had run aground.
