
Corsica Linea prepared to sell two vessels to CTC
French media report that Corsica Linea, the new company that operates the former SNCM fleet, is prepared to sell MONTE D'ORO and PAGLIA ORBA to the " collectivité territoriale de Corse" (CTC).
The island of Corsica wanted to have more autonomy regarding ferry services from the island to mainland France.
The ships are:
MONTE D'ORO: 1,630 lane metre / 528 pax in 129 cabins / built 1991
PAGLIA ORBA: 2,330 lane metre / 544 pax in 142 cabins / built 1994
The ships could be handed over after the summer of 2017.
