Wasaline's infection protection work third party verified by DNV GL
Wasaline's infection control work has been evaluated by DNV GL according to the My Care method.
The verification covers the vessel WASA EXPRESS and the operations in the terminals in Vaasa and Umeå.
This strengthens Wasaline's ability to manage and prevent infection risks, including COVID-19.
Wasaline has been working hard and systematically for a long time to ensure the
safety of passengers and staff. With DNV GL's My Care verification, Wasaline gets its
infection control work during the pandemic quality assured and controlled by a third
party.
“The My Care assessment, which is based on an infection risk standard for the
hospital environment, provides a good basis for the development of infection risk
management routines and processes,” says Curt Ruokolahti, Business Development
Manager at DNV GL.
“Safety is the most important thing for our passengers and employees. With this
verification, we want to ensure that everything is safe and secure, both on board and
in the terminals, especially in these prevailing circumstances with COVID-19," says
Peter Ståhlberg, Managing Director of Wasaline.
