Viking Line changes the timetable for the Tallinn route and offers the most comfortable day cruises
Viking Line’s six-hour picnic day cruises without disembarking have grown in popularity. Therefore, Viking Line is now changing the timetable for VIKING XPRS during the summer season in traffic between Helsinki and Tallinn, starting on Monday 7 June. Thanks to the schedule change, short picnic cruises can be made every day. At the same time, passengers are offered the opportunity to board the ship smoothly and comfortably 1.5 hours before departure. This also means that unnecessary congestion can be avoided.
The timetable for Viking XPRS will be changed so that VIKING XPRS departs from Helsinki Monday to Saturday at 13:30 with arrival in Helsinki at 19:30 the same day. On Sundays, the departure time is 10:30 and back again in Helsinki at 18:00. The car can be parked on board and the purchases can be delivered to the car if desired. The cruise is quarantine-free, as there is no disembarkation in Tallinn during the port period.
"In order to be able to fulfill customers' wishes, we have changed our timetable so that our summer travellers can go away every day to enjoy a six-hour mini vacation at sea. As the only shipping company, we offer the opportunity to board in peace and quiet. Comfort Boarding means that you can board 1.5 hours before departure," says Kaj Takolander, sales director at Viking Line.
Comfort Boarding costs EUR 22 for adults. In addition to the flexible boarding, the price includes a summery lunch buffet before departure. The buffet restaurant has a table reservation and the recommended safety distances are followed.
"We offer high-quality and comfortable holiday trips, which also take into account health and safety aspects. I would also like to remind you that these day cruises are quarantine-free and do not require a vaccination certificate," Takolander states.
