Trasmapi starts this summer a new fast-ferry route between Mallorca and Menorca
The Ibizan shipping company, with 48 years of service vocation and maritime tradition in passenger transport between the Pitiusas, is firmly committed to its expansion in the Balearic Islands, providing a dimension of proximity and locality to the communities in which it operates.
In addition to this boutique approach to its business proposal, its own values ??are added that, for more than sixty years, have been an inalienable part of the INSOTEL Group, with 100% Balearic capital, and whose maritime division (IMG —Insotel Marine Group), belongs to TRASMAPI.
Marcos Marí, CEO of TRASMAPI, declared that: “in the hotel area, we have a complete offer of hotels on the four islands, and now the maximum aspiration of our shipping division is to open new options for maritime connections, which help in the needs of inter-island mobility, for residents and visitors”.
The fast-ferry of the TRASMAPI fleet that will start this new route between Mallorca (Alcudia) and Menorca (Ciutadella), currently in the Ibizan port of Sant Antoni, will leave shortly for its new destination. For his part, Rafael Cardona, General Director of TRASMAPI, said: “we are excited to contribute our values ??and our vision of maritime transport to this new route in the Balearic Islands, between two communities that we know well. We are really committed to this new operation, as part of the strategic expansion plan for this season”.
