Tomas Karlsson has been appointed new CEO of Birka Cruises AB

Tomas Karlsson has worked in the industry since the mid-90s in a variety of roles. Since 2009 he has been a successful CEO of Eckerö Linjen AB, which is a sister company to Birka Cruises AB. During a transition period, Tomas will work in parallel with outgoing CEO Satu Andersson.

- We are very pleased to announce that Tomas has agreed to become new leader and CEO of Birka Cruises AB. The fine work and results that Tomas has delivered during his years at Eckerö Linjen AB make this feel like a good solution. Tomas will assume the role at the beginning of the year, says Eckerö's CEO Björn Blomqvist.
