Alongside the usual favourite summer destinations, such as Mariehamn and Visby, in July 2021, two special cruises are offered from Helsinki directly to the Estonian island of Saaremaa, which proved a very popular new destination piloted this summer.

The main novelty in 2020, when booking special cruises for 2021 includes the option to use, in part, accumulated points from Tallink’s customer loyalty programme Club One. 

“As this challenging year of 2020 draws to a close, we are happy to offer our customers in the Baltic Sea region an opportunity to start planning their next summer vacations at sea, safely and closer to home to enjoy some fresh sea air and much wanted change of the environment, which I am sure, we all need after 2020 is over. And that is not all – another good news is that this year, for the first time, members of our customer loyalty programme Club One who have accumulated a good amount of club points and are now looking for ways to redeem them before the end of the year, are happy to hear that they can use  their Club One points towards paying for their next years’ bookings, including summer special cruises. This makes gift giving this holiday season that much more exciting and rewarding as a Club One member. We wish to thank our loyal customers who have believed in us and with whom we can cruise again very soon indeed,” Piret Mürk-Dubout, Board Member of Tallink Grupp said. 

All special cruises offered in 2021 will be operated based on the principle “spend one day in the destination”, which means that passengers will spend two nights on the vessel and one whole day at the destination, exploring the local sights and attractions.

Tallink Grupp’s vessel VICTORIA I will be making altogether four special cruises next summer. Two special cruises from Helsinki to Mariehamn, Aland, with departures from Helsinki and Tallinn on 18 and 22 July 2021 and two special cruises to the island of Saaremaa directly from Helsinki onboard VICTORIA I, depart from Helsinki on 20 and 24 July 2021.

The largest cruise vessel operating on the Baltic Sea, the impressive SILJA EUROPA will make altogether five special cruises in 2021 with departures from Helsinki and Tallinn. SILJA EUROPA will take travellers from Estonia and Finland to Mariehamn, Aland, on 24 June 2021. Four cuises will be organised to Visby, Gotland, departing from Helsinki and Tallinn on 4, 11, 25 July and 8 August, 2021.
