SIGRID SIGURDSDOTTER has been delivered to Nordland fylkeskommune
SIGRID SIGURDSDOTTER has been delivered to Nordland fylkeskommune (county municipality). She arrived in Brønnøysund 7 July where she was united with her sister vessel LIV GRANNES. Together they operate local routes on the Helgeland coast by Torghatten Nord AS.
LIV GRANNES has been in operation for a couple of months already and she has proven to be a very good vessel for these connections.
SIGRID SIGURDSDOTTER and LIV GRANNES are both 30 meters long, with a service speed of 26 knots. Universally designed they have the capacity to carry 95 passengers with cargo space for 6 pallets. The vessels are equipped with propulsion engines from MAN with integrated Selective Catalytic Reduction system (SCR), a method to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx).
SIGRID SIGURDSDOTTER is the fifth high speed vessel built by Brødrene Aa to Nordland County Municipality. We are grateful being chosen as supplier by the county, and we appreciate the strong relationship and good cooperation developed throughout these five building projects.
