SCHOTTEL strengthens presence in Nordic region
As of November 2018, SCHOTTEL Norway AS and Frydenbø SCHOTTEL Nordic AS have been merged under SCHOTTEL Nordic AS.
The German propulsion expert is now able to provide both newbuilding advise and after sales services in the Nordic region. The company's headquarters for service products will continue to be located in Gardermoen, with workshop facilities for the overhaul of thrusters as well as warehousing. The facility’s location has proven ideal for easy logistics and the provision of spare parts and service personnel for customers all along the coast. The company will also continue to have offices in Bergen and Ulsteinvik in order to remain an active partner for the maritime clusters there.
The company will be headed by Jan Helge Telseth (located in Bergen). Petter Lund Hansen will serve as General Manager of Service and Upgrades located in Gardermoen, and Idar Hatløy as Sales Manager located in Ulsteinvik.
SCHOTTEL Nordic AS further consolidates global network
SCHOTTEL Nordic AS will function as a strategic platform for the expansion of sales in Norway and the Nordic region. The trend-setting maritime environment is strong and, thanks to the new company’s structure, SCHOTTEL is able to operate here with international reach in order to further consolidate the global network.
