Orskov Yard invests in a large mobile shore power unit
Orskov Yard has invested in a large mobile shore power unit, which has just been put into service. The system converts onshore power and can deliver 1200 kVA by 400/440/660/690 V and 50/60 HZ. The new unit from the Danish company PowerCon is delivered in a 10 feet long container, which makes it flexible to be placed on various locations around the yard. The unit is equipped with two outlets making it possible to deliver power to two ships at the same time. With this investment the yard wants to meet the customers increasing request for easy accessible, stable, and environmental friendly energy during their stay at Orskov Yard.
