Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea introduces cold ironing the Port of Almería
CIUDAD DE IBIZA from Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea is now connected to the electricity grid at the Port of Almería, thus avoiding the use of auxiliary engines and significantly reducing the footprint of noise and emissions.
CIUDAD DE IBIZA is the second ship to receive electricity supply in the Port of Almería. Last year in August, the VOLCAN DE TIJARAFE ferry was the first to receive it.
