Estonia’s first VILA brand store opens in Tallinn’s Ülemiste shopping centre
Tallink Grupp has acquired VILA fashion brand’s franchise rights in Estonia. On 19 September, the first VILA store called VILA Ülemiste opened its doors in the Estonian capital’s Ülemiste shopping centre.
The design philosophy of the Danish VILA label is rooted in the feminine approach to fashion, uniting femininity with fashion and trend insights, offering everyday fashion-ware to a modern woman who values her personal style and Scandinavian minimalism, high-quality design and attention to detail.
„We are very pleased to add a new brand to Tallink Grupp’s franchise portfolio. We believe that VILA fits in to the Estonian retail market well with its constantly changing fashion collections, selection that fits to our climate and competitive prices,“ Katre Kõvask, Head of Tallink Grupp’s International Shore Trade said. „We are particularly happy to bring to the trendy Estonian consumers another unique fashion label that is created to appreciate and highlight the style of Nordic woman,“ Kõvask said.
The 120-square metre sales area in the newly opened VILA Ülemiste brand store includes a display of women’s fashion ware and accessories.
“We are most pleased to enter the Estonian market with VILA brand,” Tiina Mäkinen, VILA’s retail manager for Finland and the Baltics said. “The VILA store is an invitation to enter our universe. We are a fashion brand, so everything we do reflects it. The stores are designed from a Scandinavian perspective with natural materials, so the result is a light and feminine shopping universe with home references. We hope that our Estonian customers will fall in love with our new VILA store,” Mäkinen added.
VILA fashion brand belongs to the Danish fashion company BESTSELLER, just like fashion brands JACK&JONES and VERO MODA, which are already represented in the Tallink Grupp’s franchise portfolio.
