DFDS increase frequency and service on Karlshamn-Klaipeda
The ferry operator DFDS A/S now increase the number of sailings on their Karlshamn-Klaipeda service. Since September 19th, there are two departures from Karlshamn on Saturdays instead of one. At the same time the service is further increased by adjusting the sailing schedule with earlier arrivals and later departures. By doing this the customers will increase the geographical catchment area.
- We are glad to announce that we boost the service for our customers to meet the market demand, instead of reducing, in the present global situation, says Per-Henrik Persson, Site Manager at DFDS Seaways Karlshamn.
This further underline the importance of the transport corridor Karlshamn-Klaipeda and Port of Karlshamn as a logistics node for Swedish trade eastward.
