Changes in Tallink Grupp Sales and Marketing
Tallink Grupp has today announced that the company’s current Group Sales and Marketing Director Margus Hunt has decided to leave his position in the company at the end of this year. Mr Hunt has lead the company’s sales and marketing since 2015 and has decided to take a short break from work and focus on his family and other activities for the time being.
At the same time, the company has announced that it has hired a new Head of Group Brand and Marketing, Ms Kristi Männik, who will join the company on 13 January from AS Orkla Eesti.
In Orkla Eesti Ms Männik was responsible for the strategy, marketing and product development of the company’s primary brand Kalev and for Orkla Eesti’s employer branding area. Between 2010 and 2017 Ms Männik worked in various marketing positions such as brand manager, B2C marketing manager, EMT brand and communications manager and marketing communications manager in the Estonian telecommunications industry in companies such as AS EMT, AS Eesti Telekom and Telia Eesti. Prior to joining the Estonian telecommunications sector, Ms Männik worked in various marketing positions in leading Estonian food industry companies such as A Le Coq, Coca-Cola Baltic Beverages and Tallegg.
„I would sincerely like to thank Margus Hunt for his contribution and commitment to the development of Tallink Grupp’s sales and marketing and would like to wish Margus all the best for future underatkings,“ Piret Mürk-Dubout, Tallink Grupp’s Management Board Member responsible for the sales and marketing areas, said. „From January the position of Tallink Grupp’s sales and services director will be assumed by the company’s long-term Estonian market sales and marketing director Marina Jõgi, who will also continue to have responsibility for the the Estonian market sales area,“ Mürk-Dubout added.
„At the same time I am very pleased that our very professional and ambitious team will have a great addition in January when Kristi Männik joins our team and assumes responsibility for the group brand and also the Estonian market marketing areas. Kristi’s wealth of experience in a number of different areas and in many high profile marketing and sales roles, is a perfect addition to our existing team and will enable us to develop our popular brands Tallink and Silja Line even more and will enable us to take them even wider in the world than they are today,“ Mürk-Dubout concluded.
