Visentini launched the new methanol-ready ro-ro ship for Mann Lines
Ro-roMann Lines new long-term chartered ro-ro ship was recently launched at Cantiere Navale Visentini in Porto Viro, with delivery scheduled for the first half of 2025. The new vessel is a 10 metre longer sister ship to the ML FREYJA, built by the same shipyard and delivered in 2017.
The new ship has a loading capacity of 3,004 lane metres plus 196 cars on two car decks. It has an overall length of 203.4 metres and is powered by two methanol-ready Wärtsilä engines of 7,200 kW each, making it capable of a speed of 22 knots. It is RINA classed and built to Ice Class 1A.
