Strategic joint-venture to establish a RoRo terminal in Singapore
Ro-roMitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) and PSA Singapore (PSA) have announced the formation of a joint-venture RoRo terminal in Singapore. The joint-venture terminal is currently subject to regulatory approval and is expected to commence operations in the first half of this year. As Southeast Asia's largest automotive transhipment hub, Singapore is a key gateway connecting Asia to major global markets.
The strategic partnership is expected to enhance terminal service reliability and operational efficiency for MOL's RoRo service (PCTCs), while securing long-term terminal capacity to support its growing automobile transport demand. PSA Singapore operates the world's largest container transhipment hub in Singapore, handling 44.5 million TEUs of containers in 2025.
